Patch 4.2 – Der Weg zu den neuen täglichen Quests

Patch 4.2 ist ja bekanntlich fast da, und ihr wisst nicht genau wie es zu den neuen täglichen Quests geht? Gut, dann seid ihr hier auf der Webseite genau richtig.

Startpunkt für die Vorquests ist Orgrimmar (Horde) bzw. Sturmwind (Allianz) an der Tafel mit den Ausschreibungen (siehe Bild rechts). Falls ihr nicht so aufs lesen steht, könnt ihr Euch die komplette Vorquest der täglichen Quests auch im vertonten Video anschauen.

Quest 1: Die Wächter des Hyjal – Die Invasion der Feuerlande!

Betretet einfach das Portal nach Hyjal und fliegt anschließend zum Heiligtum von Malorne. Dort angekommen, gebt ihr die Quest bei Matookla ab.

Quest 2: Das Öffnen der Tür

Nachdem ihr mit Matookla gesprochen habt, schickt diese euch weiter zum Erzdruiden Hamuul Runentotem am Nordunegrat auf dem Hyjal. Der Nordunegrat befindet sich genau gegenüber vom Heiligtum von Malorne.

Quest 3: Ein Ritual der Flamme

Hamuul Runentotem bittet uns nun die Wellen der verkohlten Eindringlinge zu bekämpfen, bis das Portal geöffnet ist. Was man zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt allerdings noch nicht ahnt, es wird garnicht so leicht das Portal in die Feuerlande zu öffnen..

Quest 4: Zum Heiligtum

Fliegt zurück zum Heiligtum von Malorne, und sprecht dort mit Matookla.

Quest 5: Kalt erwischt

Nun müsst ihr Thisalee Krähe, Ahnenzweig, Tholo Weißhuf und Anren Schattensucher helfen, den Flammen zu entkommen. Genauer gesagt müsst ihr jeweils 6 Elementare in der Nähe der jeweiligen NPC’s töten.

Quest 6: Das Heiligtum darf nicht fallen

Die letzte Vorquests bevor der Spaß mit den täglichen Quests beginnen kann.. beschützt einfach Malfurion vor den Elementaren und natürlich vor Lord Rhyolith..

Soo.. das waren die eigentlichen Vorquests um zu den neuen täglichen Quests zu gelangen. Nun müsst ihr natürlich noch die Quest „Verstärkung rufen“ von Hamuul Runentotem annehmen, und 20 Abzeichen des Weltenbaums sammeln um in der Questreihe weiter zukommen.

Nachdem ihr die 20 Abzeichen des Weltenbaums gesammelt habt, könnt ihr durch das Portal in die Feuerlande und weitere tägliche Quests in Malfurions Bresche annehmen.

Dubuque will host excursion train twice

Telegraph – Herald (Dubuque) September 12, 2007 | MARY NEVANS-PEDERSON News You can use The City of Omaha excursion train will be in Dubuque overnight on two Sundays, parked on tracks near Kerper Boulevard and Cedar Street. It will arrive at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 16, and at 6 p.m. Sept. 23. On Monday, Sept. 17, and Monday, Sept. 24, the train will leave Dubuque at 7 a.m. There is no public access to the train or the privately owned tracks. The train will pass through Manchester, Iowa, at 8:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, and through Savanna, Ill. at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24.

This week, privately owned train cars are being pulled from all parts of the country to Chicago, where they will form a special excursion train. Twice this month, the train, dubbed The City of Omaha, will pull into Dubuque for the night.

The City of Omaha will travel from Chicago across Illinois and Iowa, carrying 170 passengers heading to the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners annual convention in Omaha, Neb., next week. Although the public cannot tour the train, and the railroad tracks and right-of-way are private property, people are invited to view and photograph the train from a distance.

Mike Margrave, chairman of this year’s convention, will be on board his 1953 Promontory Point train car. Margrave bought the car from the Union Pacific Railroad 10 years ago. It features an office, lounge, dining room, kitchen, crew room and three bedrooms. It sleeps eight.

So why do private citizens buy train cars?

“For many people, it’s nostalgia. For some it’s the satisfaction of getting a piece of equipment back in shape and safe to travel. Some people want them to use for special trips,” said Margrave, of Scottsdale, Ariz., who takes his own train car out on excursions several times each year from its storage site in San Antonio. Many owners rent out their cars for special occasions. Most private car journeys are on regularly scheduled Amtrak trains.

Margrave has been fascinated with trains since he was a child, but when he attended his first rail car owners’convention in 1990, he got seriously hooked. After he found and bought his own rail car in 1997, he spent five years having it repaired, refurbished and restored by experts. To be able to travel on Amtrak tracks, the car’s undercarriage had to be completely disassembled and checked for cracks, rust or gouges. In addition, new wiring and plumbing were added, mahogany paneling, beds and appliances were replaced, and it was carpeted.

At the passenger car owners convention, about 200 attendees will hear presentations on safety and mechanical issues, learn how to put together trips with their cars, and do a lot of networking.
